Production Time

“I had to do some post processing to get countersunk holes that I needed… parts were clean and accurate. Saved me a lot of time.”
Our countersinking service is compatible with four aluminums and three plastics. Materials must be at least 0.125″ thick.
Countersinking adds 1-2 days to production. For the fastest lead time, order countersunk parts separately

Draw only the minor hole in your CAD file
Do not include the major diameter; the countersink is machined to the correct size automatically.
Holes under 4″ are automatically resized
You are responsible for ensuring adequate edge clearance and spacing between features after resize.
Countersink direction matters
Countersinks can be applied from the top or bottom face. Use the 3D preview in the app to verify orientation before ordering.
| Major diameter | Should match fastener head diameter (~50% larger than minor hole). Do not include in your file |
| Minor diameter | Defined by your CAD file, must match intended fastener size |
| Max countersink depth | Should not exceed 60% of material thickness |
| Countersink angle: 82° | Standard for imperial/SAE hardware |
| Countersink angle: 90° | Standard for metric hardware |
| Contact requirement | Aim for ≥ 50% contact between hardware and countersink |

Avoid placing countersinks too close to edges, other holes, or bend lines.
Deep countersinks require additional spacing between features and thicker material to maintain strength.
Multiple countersinks placed close together risk material deformation or part failure under load.
Surface condition: Parts may have oil or lubricant residue from the countersinking process. Light cleaning may be required.
Edge condition: Some sharp edges or burrs may remain after machining. Minor deburring may be needed.
Finish quality: Countersinks are functional features, not cosmetic. Tooling marks or light scoring may be visible.
Powder coating impact: Adds .002″–.005″ per side. Hole sizes are adjusted, but fit may still be tight on countersunk features.

Posted on Google Eddie EstradaAugust 10, 2026. Great work, and super fast delivery. Very happy and will use as often as possible.Posted on Google Ben StrawnAugust 10, 2026. Shopping experience was extremely easy on their website, and for the few small aluminum pieces I ordered I thought it was very affordable. Fast turnaround and shipping as well. Will definitely use again.Posted on Google Skyler FreedAugust 9, 2026. Really well designed interface makes it easy to submit and get an accurate quote. Parts were made quickly and I was informed of each step. Really impressive operation!Posted on Google G MAugust 9, 2026. extremely good pricing on quick easy sheet metal production. great for single parts for prototyping or large batches. i would love to see some SLS 3D printing services from them in the future. the CNC is reliable and accurate however is obviously more expensive than what SLS would cost. highly highly recommend this companyPosted on Google Jeff StasneyAugust 9, 2026. Great outfit, quick service and shipping. Communication is very responsive on the site. Would cost a lot more to go to a machinist - I know from experience.Posted on Google Chris “Prometheus34”August 8, 2026. I heard about these guys through a YT video and decided to try them out. I have a design background and am very familiar with metal fabrication as relates to CAD. From the moment I logged onto their account I was impressed with their brand. Communication, cost, and execution lived up to the impressiveness of their website, and in fact, exceeded expectations. Couldn't be happier with the process and product!Posted on Google R LAugust 8, 2026. Pieces cut to the exact specifications. Fast turn around time.Posted on Google SH HongAugust 7, 2026. Great quality and fast shipping! I will definitely order again.Posted on Google Sergio ChicasAugust 7, 2026. Best company on earthPosted on Google silver surferAugust 7, 2026. Super easy to request exactly what I needed with a wide range of options. My custom piece was delivered much quicker than estimated, and it was manufactured perfectly to my specifications.
